For example, the risk register lists risk owners, the stakeholder register nominates team members responsible for communication activities, and the WBS tasks designate those responsible for carrying out quality assurance and control tasks.
For that reason, you should only prepare a separate and distinct human resource plan if the project is complex enough to benefit from this summary activity.
This is something we will directly address later in this Unit.
That said, it may still be valuable on even smaller projects to prepare position descriptions for key project team members.
This is especially necessary on projects where team members are responsible for multiple tasks, are new to the project environment, and/or have complex reporting relationships.
