What is the PACE program?

The Project Accredited Certification Essentials (PACE) series is a blended learning experience that leads to internationally accredited, lifetime certification with the Institute of Project Management.

Over one (1) collaborative workshop day and 25 hours of online study, you will leverage your latent project experience to connect a common frame of reference, common purpose and common-sense approach to the cohesive delivery and oversight of professional and personal projects.

Who should attend?

People from any industry who contribute to or manage projects, or lead project teams.

This PACE program workshop day is a wholly interactive, peer-to-peer learning experience strictly capped at 25 participants.

Following the workshop day, your trainer becomes your mentor, offering you unlimited, on-demand learning support on your path to self-paced completion of our online learning (OPEN) and certification resources.

What will I gain?

Candidates who successfully complete the PACE program are admitted to the Institute of Project Management as a Certified Project Officer (CPO).

Upon completing the subsequent requirements, candidates may also be assessed at a higher-level Certification within 6 months of completing the program at no extra cost:

• Certified Project Professional (CPP) – leads projects
• Certified Project Master (CPM) – leads project teams
• Certified Project Director (CPD) – leads project managers

Where and when is the workshop day?

The PACE program workshop day will be hosted by our UAE partner, the University of Wollongong in Dubai, Knowledge City.

This PACE program workshop day will be held from 10am-5:00pm, 14 February 2023.

What should I bring?

A laptop – once enrolled, you will be able to download the digital resources that support the day’s learning; alternately, you can download and print the paper versions if you prefer.

If you’d like to bring a keep-cup and/or re­fillable bottle, we provide all-day tea, coffee and water; and if you don’t want to bring your own lunch, there are plenty of nearby food options.

How much does it cost?

AED 1,350 includes all workshop resources (including student handouts, assessment tools, project management templates and e-book), as well as lifetime certification with the Institute of Project Management.

Lifetime Certification means you do not need to pay an annual membership or subscription fee to maintain your Certification – it also means you never need to re-sit or retake an examination at this level.
